Yana's Prayer
This page is for Bihari's Yana. She was our German Shepherd. She was born on January 27, 2001. We brought her home on April 1st, 2001. We were sorry to see her pass on in November of 2007.
This was Yana's Avatar Icon on an application game called Dog World, created by Wonderhill Games.
And this was her Yard.
We miss you Yana. I want to thank Joann LaBrecque for creating this beautiful service for our beloved Yanapuppy from various prayer books.
We are here today to remember Yana, an
energetic and lovable dog. She loved to play chasing lights and balls with any
who would play with her.
From the Great Divine is where all creatures come, each with it's own purpose.
Yana's purpose was to bring love and joy. Let us remember that this is what she
did. Today we say good-bye and good journey as she goes to join her siblings,
Spud and Enga, and her friend Tigger, whom we include in our thoughts with these
prayers this day.
Lord of the enclosed land,
ruler of the flowery plain,
You who first took this path:
bring this one home.
May she flourish in the land beyond.
May she be happy in the land of joy
May she rest, may she rest.
Mother of all, absorb the spirit of our loved one back into your womb from which
she was born. There, reshape her in your place of molding, preparing her for
rebirth among her people.
So mote it be.
We call on the Spirits and the Great Divine, knowing that the love is thou and
thine's, watch over, comfort and protect letting them know that their loved one
is at rest. Keep the out of harm and mischief's way, holding them near your
heart we pray, every day and every night keeping them always in your light.
So mote it be.
