Welcome to Falcon's Page
On February 20, 2009, Falcon was chased off my property and was missing for 4 months. My husband, Brian and I, with the help of Falcon's owner Kit Curtis, and many others whom I would love to thank searched diligently for him. We were heart broken that he was lost and out there all on his own.
On March 28th, 2009, Brian and I received a phone call from over in the Pine Bush, NY area. Falcon had found his way there and was living in a back field on the Greco Family Farm. With Mr. Greco's permission we did our best to catch Falcon. It was a rough couple of months, but the deed was finally accomplished. Falcon was returned to my care on June 7th, 2009. He is staying here at the Hollow until we are sure he has not suffered any lasting affects of his wanderings. Once he is healthy, he will be returning to Kit Curtis at Camp Calcurt for a time.
I was really looking forward to seeing what this wonderful dog could do in the Show ring, but right now he needs to be home with his family.
I want to thank everyone that helped search for Falcon, and supported us through this trying ordeal.
I am very happy that he is home.
And here we are in 2010, and Falcon is back at the Hollow! He has come a long way since his journey last year. And now Falcon is officially part of the Darkmoon Crew. I am co-owning him with Kit Curtis and recently received his paperwork from the AKC. His paperwork and pedigree will be viewable on his Health Files Page.
I am looking forward to seeing how he does in his shows this year. I am pleased to say that Falcon has done very well here, at the Hollow. Since his return, Falcon has given Kit and I wonderful puppies with lots of potential to look forward too. He has also won 2 Best Opposite placements in two of the shows we've gone to.
This is our first Best Opposite, that we took at Longshore-Southport at FDR Park in Yorktown Heights, June of 2010.
